Collaboration and Skills Summit: Partnering for Success - How to maximise virtual partnering meetings!
With international biotech conferences redesigned and travel limited by COVID-19 and social distancing limitations, many events have moved to a virtual format, and so have business development and partnering opportunities.

If you are a start-up or early stage research company seeking to develop and maintain relationships and find new strategic partnerships for funding or collaboration, you need to be prepared for virtual partnering meetings. A number of key sector events coming up on the calendar offer a range of virtual partnering opportunities including ‘AusMedtech 2021’ (17-21 May), BIO Digital (June 2021) and The MedTech Conference (September 2021).

This event will explore how to partner effectively at virtual conferences.

• Effective ways to participate in partnering meetings with other companies
• Setting up strategies for one on one virtual meetings
• Preparing your presentation – storytelling, interactions and presence
• Know your targets, do your research
• Tips to building trust and long-term business to business relationships

This will be a facilitated session hosted by MTPConnect’s Dr Dan Grant and you will hear practical advice and case studies for successful partnering from industry experts in the MTP sector - those acquiring novel medtech and pharmaceutical products (big pharma and investors) to those developing them (startups/SMEs). A QA session will also give participants the chance to submit questions.

Hear from our panel:
• Kathy Connell, Senior Director, New Ventures, ANZ, Johnson & Johnson Innovation
• Colin Denver, CEO, SpeeDx
• Helga Mikkelsen, Investment Analyst, Brandon Capital
• Dr Nina Webster, CEO & Managing Director, Dimerix Limited
